Following the Reserve Bank of Australia’s (RBA) decision to increase the official cash rate by 0.25 per cent, AMP Bank is changing interest rates for customers.
Interest rates for all variable home loans will increase by 0.25 per cent, effective 9 February 2026.
AMP Bank is also increasing rates for AMP Bank GO’s savings products, lifting the rate by 0.35 per cent to 4.60 per cent p.a. for Personal Save balances and by 0.25 per cent to 4.25 per cent p.a. for Business Save balances. Both rates apply for balances up to $500,0001 – an increase from the current $250,000 limit – with no fees, no minimum deposits or withdrawal limitations to earn interest. The changes will also take effect on 9 February 2026
Sean O’Malley, AMP Bank’s Group Executive, said:
“We know higher rates can put pressure on household budgets and we’re encouraging any customer who is doing it tough to get in touch.
“Importantly, we’re also lifting AMP Bank GO’s savings rates so everyday banking customers and mini-business owners can benefit from strong, ‘no catch’ returns on their savings.”
